Dyslexics
My Mission
With a background in Educational Psychology, diagnostic testing, public
school teaching, supervision of reading tutors, a past President of
Central California International Dyslexia Association and business owner
of Dyslexia Tutoring and Testing, I wish to assist homeschool parents,
tutors and individuals who cannot pay for tutoring services.
The human brain uses three neuralcircuits to code words in three forms:
- Their sound - phonology (See Nonsense Words, Basic Phonics,
Multisensory Practice)
- Parts of words - morphology - that gives meaning and grammar (See
Roots for Literacy)
- Visual written form of words - (See Basic Phonics, Multisensory
Practice, Roots for Literacy)
I offer assistance for literacy through the use of simple-to-follow
teaching/learning manuals which are color presentations of the structure
of the English language. The manuals are written for the dyslexic
reader. However, I use them successfully with all readers who come
to me for help
